Happy Smileyface Onigiri!

I’ve been doing the bento thing for just about a year now. I forget what exactly sparked it – I was working at Lush at the time, and we were looking at pictures of these amazingly intricate bento boxes, and suddenly we were in line at Daiso Richmond. It’s an easy hobby/habit to feed in this town: not only are there countless diverse grocery shopping options, but bento boxes and accessories are wonderfully easy to come by. Soon enough, I was bringing bento lunches to work at least twice a week, and I eventually started making them for Scott, too.
