Last Sunday, The Orchid Highway played their last show before the big trip to Austin next month. 15 bands played the all-day benefit at the Railway Club, including The Pack A.D. and members of Black Mountain.

Sunday is my favorite day; it’s the only day both Scott and I have off, and it’s almost always full of delicious nothingness. Scott makes breakfast. We might clean up a bit here and there. We conjure up a nice little hangover with the day’s first cigarette and coffee.
